Gatorade Pre National Tournament

I made it down to Lexington this weekend for the Gatorade Pre National Tournament.  A few NKY teams where in action down there. The 8th grade Celtics team won their divison. The Celtics were led by Thad Moss.  Moss just overpowered people in the post.  On Sunday Ethan Snapp was dressed for the Celtics and he had some big games scoring from all angles.  The 7th grade Tarheels where playing up in the 8th grade division as well.  Cole Vonhandorf has had a terrific summer averaging over 20 a game.  This weekend was no different in the two games I seen him play. Cole's motor enables him to will his way to the goal.  JC Hawkins, another Tarheel, had a solid weekend too.  He was blistering the nets from behind the arc, making six three pointers in their opening game alone.  With high school ball getting into full swing in the month of June.  Most of your top players will be taking some time off thier AAU teams to participate with their school teams.
